Main job purpose

To coordinator the Company’s current accounts to ensure minimum credit risk.

Main Objective

• Coordinate reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy within accounts.
• Processing and allocation of payments, journals, debit notes, credit notes, and do follow-up on payments.
• Processing of sundry invoicing in order for customers to pay on time.
• Prepare authorizations in terms of Management mandates on SAP.
• Research disputes and resolve queries within specified time frames.
• Complete month-end reports timeously and ensure financial figures are correct.
• Monitor accounts in order to prevent or minimize credit risk.
• Monitor the actual and projected exposure against credit limit and inform customers of such.
• Provide adequate service to internal customers of the credit department.
• Initiate, develop and maintain a flow of information to management in order to facilitate comparisonsagainst objectives, and provide interpretations and advice as required.
• Adhoc tasks as needed or assigned in support of the credit control function
• Nurture good customer service oriented behavior within the department.
