REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 10 Certificate (NQF level 3). No
experience required. Job related skills: Communication skills (verbal and
written). Good interpersonal skills. Organizational skills. Ability to use electrical
and hand tools. Ability to work independently.
DUTIES : Provide assistance in the maintenance of facilities, vehicles and equipment.
Maintain team vehicle and caravan at all times. Maintain the stores tents at all
times. Maintain tools at all times. Relocate camp when required. Repair,
clean, service and safe keeping of equipment and tools according to standards.
Ensure the safety storage, cleaning and routine maintenance of implements.
Ensure the timely reporting of defects to mechanical workshop in order to
prevent further damage. Assist with dispensing and receiving of fuels and oils.
