A Call Center Agent position with Santam Travel Insurance is open and will be stationed in Illovo for a period of six months.
The chosen candidate will be expected to promote and/or sell short-term insurance products to intermediaries and customers.

What will enable you to succeed in this position?
- Engage with customers (telephonically or on a face to face level).
- Work in an inbound call center setting and keep up a high level of product knowledge
- Provide accurate, factual information on products and benefits in compliance with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act’s specifications (FAIS ACT).
- Be in charge of handling the administration and processing of documents, such as policies, recommendations, quotes, and other supporting documentation.
- Response to written and spoken questions
- Make sure to provide outstanding customer service, which includes, but is not limited to, good phone manners and efficient written and verbal communication.
- Ad-hoc assistance for management and the sales team when needed
Information and Skills:
- The applicant must be well-versed in the travel sector.
- MS Office Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional writing and telephone skills
- Excellent mastery of the English language Service-minded
- Pay attention to detail and handle pressure well
- Having traveled abroad is useful
