AUXILIARY SERVICE OFFICER: MALARIA (10 Posts)

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate, plus relevant experience in malaria control. Good interpersonal relationship, verbal and written communication skill. An incumbent must be prepared for in house training on spraying and follow up of malaria cases. Valid code 10 (c1) driver’s license. Previous work experience in malaria programme will be added as advantage.

Duties: Control malaria vector mosquitoes through spraying of structures in malaria endemic areas, assist in case investigation, application of all relevant strategies for foci clearing, Epidemiology and vector surveillance (includes mosquito & larval collection, rearing and identification. Health education and promotion, Identification, and treatment of breeding sites, counting of structure in malaria endemic areas, assist in conducting malaria surveillance.
